The Meistersinger Bell Hora model revives a practically forgotten complication - the ‘Sonnerie au passage’. Exactly on the hour, the watch produces a friendly bell, alerting the wearer to the passage of time without having to look at the dial. Unlike church bells, the Bell Hora strikes only once, telling the wearer that a new hour has just begun, completely ‘en passant’.
With a pusher above the crown (at 2 o'clock), the Bell Hora's gong can easily be switched off. A black marker shows at a glance whether the watch will chime at the full hour or remain silent
This Meistersinger has a 43-millimetre-wide watch case made of stainless steel. The men's watch houses a Swiss automatic mechanical movement. It has an anthracite dial and scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Attached to the watch is a beautiful bracelet made of dark brown leather. The soothing single hand goes around once every 12 hours, so it is actually an extended hour hand.
